The free test never uploads your photo

When you select a photo, it is read by your own browser into a local object URL and passed to a face-landmark model that was downloaded to your device. The measurement runs there. No network request carries the image during the free test, and the result exists only in your tab - close or refresh it and the photo and result are gone.

Clicking through to the full-report page saves your measurement results (scores, ratios and the measured landmark coordinates - not the photo) to our database so the offer page can exist as a link. If you do not buy, that saved data is deleted within 2 days.

Creating The Attractiveness Report is the one flow where your photo leaves your browser, and it happens only after you explicitly agree to a written consent notice at the moment of purchase. What then happens:

• Your photo is sent only to Google Gemini (a paid API that does not use it to train AI models) to infer visible styling attributes and to render the report's hairstyle try-on images.
• The written report is generated from your measurements, not your photo.
• The staging copy of your photo is deleted within about 2 hours; a private copy is stored with your purchased report so its comparisons keep working.
• Your email address (collected by Stripe at checkout) is used to deliver the report PDF and for order support. No marketing list, no newsletter.
• A purchased report, its images and its PDF are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Ask us to delete sooner at any time.

Your photo is never sold, never shared beyond the processors named here, and never used to train AI models.

The services that touch data, and what each receives: Vercel (hosting and request logs), Supabase (the database holding saved measurements and reports), Cloudflare R2 (private storage for report images and PDFs), Stripe (payment; they collect your card details and email - we never see the card), Google Gemini (the photo, for the report only), Anthropic (your measurements as text, never the photo, to write the report), Railway (renders your PDF) and Cloudflare (sends the delivery email). The face-landmark model and its runtime are served from our own domain - the free test loads no third-party code, and the browser is instructed (via Content-Security-Policy) to refuse connections anywhere but this site.

Facial geometry is treated as biometric data under laws including Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI and the GDPR. The free test collects, stores and transfers none of it - the measurement happens on your device. The paid report does process biometric data, which is why it sits behind an explicit written consent, a stated retention schedule (above), and a named list of recipients. The consent text you agree to is stored verbatim as the record of what you authorised.

Saved measurements without a purchase delete themselves within 2 days. Purchased reports delete after 12 months. To delete anything earlier, email contact@theattractivenesstest.com from the address you used at checkout and we will remove the report, its images and its PDF.

This site is intended for people aged 18 and over. The report checkout is gated on a birth-year screen, and appearance-scoring tools are a poor fit for anyone still forming a relationship with their own face.
